In the Type R lineage, this engine is most famously associated with the K20Z4 variant found in the European Honda Civic Type R (FN2).

  • K20Z3: Powering the 2006–2011 Civic Si, it produces 197 hp and includes a limited-slip differential (LSD) as standard.
